In 2003, I was attending Hutchinson Community College and taking Intermediate Algebra. I was scared to death that I couldn't pass the class. I knew I had to do it though so that I could complete College Algebra in order to graduate. This was a requirement, so that I could go on to earn my Master's degree as a Marriage & Family Therapist. I wasn't sure that I could make it since Math had never been a strength for me! One
