  • Pregnancy Massage: Very beneficial for mothers-to-be and for their unborn baby. This helps to ease some of the stress on the mother’s body and to relax her growing body so that it is easier to accept the changes that come with pregnancy. This massage is relaxing to the baby as well.
  • Reiki Massage:  Reiki is an energetic massage. The world, including the body, is made up of energy. Reiki is used to help balance out the energy flowing through the body, affecting the mind, body, and soul. Reiki can be very healing and very therapeutic; easing muscle pains and the stress from everyday life.
  • Reflexology:  A method of massage for specific areas of the foot, or sometimes the hand, in order to promote healing, relieve stress, etc., in other parts of the body.  Reflexology is a type of massage which relieves nervous tension and pain through the application of finger pressure, to the feet or hands, based upon the belief that pressure applied to specific points on these extremities benefits other parts of the body.
  • Thai Yoga Massage (floor or table):  This is a combined form of yoga and Thai massage. The floor version has a lot more yoga moves, which help to ease stress and to relax the mind, body and soul. This type of massage will increase the client’s flexibility. The table version has yoga moves as well, along with the Thai massage, though it does not involve as many moves as when done on the floor.
·      Lomi Lomi:  A Hawaiian Massage that uses mostly forearms. It is a full body massage, using fluid motions over the entire body. It is not the typical type of massage, in which the back is massaged first, then the legs, arms, etc. It is a very energy fulfilled massage, as well as a very peaceful, and relaxing massage. Please call for more details.
  • Chair Massage:   Chair massage is done on a chair, as the name implies. It is a massage which helps to quickly relax the body, and to give an idea of what a whole body massage might feel like. These can be done in my office, but are usually offered at public events.

Other Therapeutic Massage Modalities Offered:
  • Raindrop Therapy:  This massage is used to help with sore muscles and ailments. It uses a blend of Essential Oils that help with different areas of the body. (For example: Cypress oil is thought to help with circulation, Wintergreen is thought to help with arthritis, as well as bones and joints. This massage is very beneficial and can be incorporated into a Swedish massage.
  • Trigger Point Therapy:  Trigger points are knots which form in the muscle; in turn, causing pain in that area of the body. This technique helps to release the knot and to relieve the pain associated with it.
  • Sports Massage:  This is a massage that is done for any kind of sporting event. It is done in before, during, and/or after any kind of sporting event.
  • Neuromuscular Technique:  Helps to ease each of the muscles, each in their own particular muscle group.
  • Four Hands Massage:  This massage is done with two massage therapists, using the same techniques at the same time, throughout the entire massage.

  •  Reiki I, II, Reiki III
    • Reiki is used to help balance out the energy flowing through the body, affecting the mind, body, and soul. Reiki can be very healing and very therapeutic; easing muscle pains and the stress from everyday life.
  • Chakra Balancing:  The chakras are known as energy centers that run throughout the body; helping to maintain the proper flow of energy. Sometimes these energy centers close off, which blocks the flow of energy; leaving a person feeling ‘incomplete’ or as if something is just ‘off’. Opening up these channels can help to ease a person’s piece of mind, making them feel better. It is also a technique which is very relaxing.
  • Crystal and Gemstone Healing (Certified in this method)This also goes along with the energy work. It utilizes crystals to help in removing negative energy and bringing in the positive energy. It also helps to ease trauma and other problems which are connected to the mind, body, and soul.

Also Trained in:
  • Aromatherapy:  Aromatherapy is the inhalation of plant oils, called essential oils, for improved physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Essential oils are the pure essence of the plantand can provide both psychological and physical benefits when used correctly. Essential oils can be used on their own for aromatherapy or with complementary natural ingredients, such as vegetable or carrier oils. When practicing aromatherapy it's vital that only pure, undiluted essential oils are used. Synthetic, perfume-grade products lack the necessary level of beneficial constituents and offer little or no positive effect. When essential oils are diffused, it's inhaled and processed through the olfactory system, which then sends the therapeutic benefits of the aroma to the brain. Depending on the specific constituents in the oil, you may begin to feel the release of negative emotions, the soothing of undue muscle tension, or experience the cleansing effect of the oils as your body eliminates toxins. There are two ways to use essential oils for aromatherapy: inhalation and topical application.
